HR Advisory Services, including Medical Staffing
Senior HR Manager: HR Advisory Services - Band 8a
You will have your own portfolio of business areas and projects and jointly manage the daily operations of the workforce advisory team ensuring the delivery of effective and timely professional HR support across the organisation. You will be an exceptional manager with a natural ability to work collaboratively, drive improvement and manage, motivate, influence and inspire others.
Senior HR Advisor - Band 6
You will act as first line lead for all HR operational issues within your portfolio of business areas, and together with supervision of direct reports you will ensure the delivery of professional advice and support that is people-centred, practical and enables your directorate leadership teams to achieve their aims and objectives. You will be a well-practiced and balanced HR practitioner who thrives on team working and has a proven ability to deliver effective people solutions.
Senior HR Administrator (Junior Doctors), Medical Staffing - Band 4
You will lead on the arrangements for monthly induction of junior doctors as they rotate into and within the Trust, collating relevant data, providing reports as required, creating IT accounts and security badges. To provide administrative support to the Guardian of Safe Working Hours and the quarterly Junior Doctors Forum.
Senior HR Administrator (Pre-Employment Checks Team), Medical Staffing - Band 4
You will lead the team of HR Administrators responsible for pre-employment clearances for all medical and dental staff joining the Trust. As well as maintaining your own caseload of new starters, you will oversee the team’s work on a daily basis, provide support and guidance, and ensure that key deadlines are achieved on a weekly and monthly basis. You will have previous team leadership experience, the ability to motivate and coach others, as well as strong organisational and time management skills and a strong customer service ethos.
Education, Training and Workforce Development
Workforce Development Manager (Clinical Education) - Band 8a
You will be responsible for a portfolio of clinical education covering Medical Education at Undergraduate (Medical Students) and Postgraduate (Foundation Years 1 and 2 Doctors) levels, Resuscitation Training, Simulation, Healthcare Academy and Preceptorship. The successful candidate will have experience of change and transformation projects as well as a successful track record in managing multiple teams and workstreams; evidence of previous application of an improvement approach would be an distinct advantage. Given the roles and responsibilities, an essential requirement is that the post holder is clinically registered.
Workforce Development Officer (Organisation Development) - Band 6
The role is to support the delivery of our organisation Improvement service to achieve our organisational priorities. Responsibility includes the design and delivery of learning and development interventions which support our OD cornerstone framework, ‘Flourish at Newcastle Hospitals’ creating solutions to support our ongoing journey of culture change and improvement. With strategic alignment to our Improvement Transformation programme you will contribute to and facilitate our staff engagement ‘What Matters To You’ conversations with the aim of improving our staff experience of working at Newcastle Hospitals.
Resuscitation Officer - Band 6
As part of the Resuscitation Team you will provide support and education in the management of acutely unwell patients. You will also be expected to take an active part in training and developing staff by delivering classroom-based and ‘insitu’ training in mandatory Basic and Intermediate Life Support, Paediatric Intermediate Life Support, anaphylaxis management and advanced Resuscitation Council UK courses.

Deputy HR Manager-Recruitment - Band 6
You will lead a team of Recruitment Team Leaders and on a day to day basis be responsible for the delivery of effective and timely professional recruitment support across the organisation. You will pro-actively monitor and co-ordinate recruitment activity ensuring that the KPI and daily work targets are achieved. You will be responsible for a caseload of recruitment project activity. We are looking for a driven HR practitioner who strives continuously to develop the team, processes and systems and to deliver innovative recruitment solutions.
Recruitment Team Leader - Band 4
You will lead a team of HR Administrators who are responsible for the recruitment process from conditional offer to start date. You will be responsible for daily work allocation to the team and ensuring that daily work targets are achieved. We are looking for an individual who can lead a team and who pro-actively strives to continuously develop the team, processes and systems.

People Systems and Data Manager - Band 8a
This is a great time to join us as we continue our people digital journey across the Trust. We are looking for an innovate leader with an analytical and solution focused mind-set. You will be the lead for the People Systems and Data function within the Human Resources department with responsibility for providing a comprehensive, professional, high quality and effective service across the Trust. Not only will you be joining innovative colleagues in People Systems and Data team, you'll also be joining a supportive and collaborative senior team as part of the Workforce Engagement and Information Systems service.

We are looking for a technical specialist and expert in relation to ESR. The ESR Lead will be responsible for ensuring that ESR is used to its maximum capacity, is accurate and effective and able to meet the Trust’s changing requirements for people data and information. This encompasses the design and development and maintenance of ESR and reporting facilities, the production of HR information, and technical support to system users. Providing a high quality, reliable and consistent people data and information service for the Trust.

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled workforce information assistant to support the delivery of high quality data and analysis, and take our workforce information to the next level. As a key member of our team you will play a crucial role in providing essential information that supports the efficient running of our Trust. Staff Experience and Engagement Manager - Band 7
This is a very exciting time to join us as we develop our new ‘What Matters to You’ staff experience programme. We are looking for someone who is creative, driven and very personable with a genuine passion for making a positive difference to people’s experience at work. Project management is a key aspect of this role as we develop new and innovative engagement tools. This role will line manage the Staff Experience and Engagement Officer whilst collaborating with members across HR and the Trust.
